How to?

anyone know what colours to use to get this...

I do a little colouring on the side as my beauty my friend wants this blonde (pic 1) going into the silver (pic2) she also has extensions (clip ins) any help is appreciated... I normally use wella or the hair dye available at salon services also what developer ext will be helpful thankyou xxxx

Your profile doesn't say that you have any training in hair. I think she would be better going to a salon for this.

I didn't know that was possible without being a hairdresser. What kind of course was it? And how long for?

it was a quick guide to colouring course, I did it about 10 months ago and it takes 12 weeks to complete, you undergo assessments of colouring and how to do colour corrections, highlights, full head, dip dye, etc you can do it without doing a full hairdressing course because I could sign up to it when I was studying beauty college arranged it all as part of my enrichment hours, they also did hairdressing (cutting and styling), bridal hair, easy barbering and a crazy colour course but that was 1 day!

that's why I was asking for help on this specific colour, I'm okay at full head but dip dye especially grey and blonde I find hard to get the colours accurate

That doesn't surprise me. Have you asked on the hair forum? I cant help you I'm afraid, I'm not familiar with the products here in the UK

Reason being Lauren, is in your ROOTS thread you stated different places you gained your "qualifications" salon services, and college, also stated a level 3.. Mistakes in your posts in the "wants Grey hair" thread, clearly points out, you're not a hairdresser.

No pro advice will be given to you I'm afraid.

If you can give us a bit more information about your thought process and ideas that show some colour knowledge then you would be more likely to get helpful responses.

So for example;

What colour is the client at the moment? What product does she currently have on her hair?
You say that you use wella most often - so what was YOUR thoughts when your customer approached you? Do you have a vague idea of what colour you'd use?

Even if your unsure but can show basic colour knowledge in your thread - people would be willing to help and give ideas - but just saying "what do I do?" is not going to get you replies x



Or they would of anyway - I think now due to some confusion regarding your explanation of qualifications etc. on past threads it might be too little too late.
