Hi can someone tell me will 10.12 dialight stay on bleached hair that is nearly white with a bit of orange underneath

Not sure I understand. Do you mean that some sections haven’t lifted beyond a level 7 with orange undertones?
If it’s almost white, there won’t be any orange or strong yellow undertones.

Sorry ..i meant mostly white but orange undertones at the back underneath where she had previously had a dark root smudge
 
If it’s exposed orange tones, then it hasn’t lifted beyond a 7 so putting a level 10 toner on won’t do much to neutralise it.
You’ll be left with a dodgy two-tone effect.

What is the client wanting?

Either bleach the darker sections all up to a 10 and tone or use a blue based level 7 toner just on the orange sections, if you’re keeping them darker. Be careful not to get it on the white/yellow sections as that will turn them slightly grey green.
 
Thank u I have done it I went in again with bleach it was higher than a 7 but I was worried it would go 'muddy' on those pieces it came out a lovely violet ..phew thanks for reply
