6.1 over red

Hi My client has 1/4 inch roots of a level 6 on shoulder length hair. The rest is a faded permanent red, between 7/37 and 7/34. I am wanting to achieve 6/07 all over without having to bleach bath the red out. Has anyone done this. I was thinking of 6.1 colour touch with 4% to kill some of the warmth. Any advice or suggestions would be great. Thanks :lol:

you need a green based 6, not a blue ash. In Majirel, it is 6.7. Straight on with 10 or 20 vol, and you will get a flat 6

Thanks for that Persianista. Think I will do a few test strands first. Maybe use 10 vol do you think? I want to keep the hair in good condition.
