Acrygel with Gelish questions

Hi ladies, I have purchased some acrylic powder to try the acrygel method with my usual gelish mani for some added strength to grow my nails longer. I just have a few questions before I start. Firstly do I still apply a super thin coat of foundation before sprinkling the acrylic powder onto it, or should I apply the foundation a little thicker than usual to give the powder more to adhere to? Would one layer of this be enough or should I do two? And how much longer will I need to soak my nails to remove with the acrygel on? Is it a lot harder to soak off?

I apply my base a little thicker and sprinkle acrylic powder over and cure, you may need a further 2/3 coats to build strength etc removal times vary my last set took 20minutes to remove and I wrapped off
