Acrylic nails and gloves?

Why on all instagram videos do they always wear gloves, i am trained in acrylics and have been for some time now and havent ever been told or needed to wear gloves

Some people prefer to wear them if they are working with monomer or gel all day to reduce the overexposure risk and therefore the risk of getting an allergy or sensitivity. Others may wear them because they have already got to that point. Alternatively if the tech is wearing natural polish the gloves will protect that product from acetone etc.

Personally I don't wear gloves and never have since I began 9 years ago.

enough for me to run a buisness, but the main thing for this forum is that i have an acrylic qualification
