Hi, I'm looking at extending my skills by training in acrylics. I have never had them and have no idea where to start. But due to high demand, I feel I'm missing out within my business. What is the best nail enhancement available? Ideally I would like something that causes as little damage as possible and natural. Thanks in advance liz xx

From experience finding and researching a good course is a must. I went for a cheap course in acrylics when I started and ended up spending double again on better training. So id look at training with a good brand like:
CND, NSI, Nail Harmony, INK London, The Nail Team (on Fb)

I have tried all of these and all products are very good quality. I've done training with NSI, Nail Harmony and INK London and all 3 were very thorough :) hope that helps Hun xx

Young Nails is also recommended a lot but I haven't tried this myself

Thanks for your help. Would you say gel sculpting is better as in more suitable for different nails as you sculpt it rather then using the tips xx

You can sculpt with acrylics regardless.
Tips or sculpt is just a different technique and both can be used with either gel or acrylics. Between the two, with the exception of few cases, I prefer to sculpt because it's less time consuming

As to gels or acrylics, again think of it as two different products that do the same thing. Like diesel cars or petrol cars, same thing different tech. Both of them are enhancements so both of them are somewhat invasive when it comes to the natural nail. Difference is not all of them suit all nails. It's got to do with the chemistry behind it. For instance, if I wear gels I get lifting within a week! And then you have small differences like flexibility and such.
Between the two I prefer to work with acrylics. Half the time than gels and easier to work with even though the smell is horrible!
