I would like opinions on what is better - acrylic or gel???

I am not trained in any of them yet but would like to be and dont know what to go for!

We have only had 3 requests for gels ...everyone wants acrylics. My nail tech uses Creative and is fantastic!

Thanks for that! Everyone has mixed views i guess! I probably will just go for acrylic training then take it from there. Thanks for your help.

To be honest you should really try and offer both systems as not everyone's nails only suit L&P (Acrylic) or Gel.

If you do a foundation course with CND it will train you in L&P you were able to add a Gel day on to the course, as the Education is changing with CND at the moment Im not sure if this still applies.
A few people do the Foundation Class then wait a few months until they are competent with the system before going and doing an Introduction to Brisa (Gel).

I personally trained with L&P and a 5 moths later won to do a Gel course, my clients are now 50/50 l&p/Brisa.

I see your in Scotland what I suggest is you give the wonderful girls at The Fingertips Centre Newbridge Edinburgh 0131 333 3180 a call and they will give you all the information about the classes.
