Hi guys!
I'm days away from qualifying (whoop!) BUT I don't want to keep using the brand that I've been trained in (the edge - uuggghhhh!) I've tried ezflow and nsi attractions but they were just a try. I have used them properly for a full set so I don't have a lot of experience in them.

I want to get rid of the edge as soon as I can but being newly qualified I don't really know many other brands. I know some systems can only be used after doing a conversion - something I can't afford right now. So I'm hoping to find a good brand that is reasonably priced which doesn't need to have a conversion course.

I need to make some money before I can do all the extra training I want to do!

So, my question is what brand would you recommend for a newbie that doesn't break the bank and requires training?

sorry for the long question! I'm looking forward to seeing what is recommended!

Money-wise Acrylink by Ink London
Of course CND is always an option but I guess it's expensive when you start
And CJP has got amazing reviews, not sure about cost though as I don't reside in the U.K. (Can't wait for the day they'll ship internationally!)

All of those brands don't need a conversion, and have trial packs for you to get.

I will check them all out!

I got the CJP trial kit yesterday. It's very reasonable and has had great reviews on here. I'm only going back to acrylics after years so I'm still new to it. I'm just practising the ratios at the minute. Wouldn't even attempt to do anyone's nails yet .You could get the trial kit and play around with it to see what you think.

Thanks!

Yeah I read a thread about that and looked it up online. I think I will
Invest in the trail kit and see if I like it lol!

I think a trial kit is a good idea. I was all set to do the CND L&P course but decided to have a trial run on my essential trainer.! And bought a sample kit. I am glad I did as I can't cope with the smell. After only 30 minutes I was all ready feeling queasy and a migraine started.
(and the room was well ventilated). Whilst I am sad that I don't think I will physically be able to train/use acrylic at least I did not pay out for an expensive course and have to drop out. I am now looking to do the CND Brisa course instead.

Awh no :( what about a different system? I know some systems are smellier than others. I think you can get odourless liquids from some companies!

Yep, deffo gonna go for a trial kit with cjp I think. Might even grab two or three different trial kits and see which one I like most lol

Thank you for responding. I think CND is considered low odour, and I did think about trying another brand but I really wanted to do further training with CND as I have tried various academies over the years, but like CND. I think for now I will do gel, and go to London Olympia in October and get do a nose test with various Acrylic products, and then go from there.

That's such a good idea! Fingers crossed you find something that doesn't make you feel poorly!
