evening all!

i was just wondering if any of you had any plans to add any new services to your treatment list?

i think i'm going to wait until the pro beauty show in feb to see whats new but thought i'd see what you guys were planning

for a while i have added variations of the treatments i have always offered (eg - brazilain/hollywood to my waxing services amongst others) but i'm looking to add something completely new!!

Hi I always think that the more treatments you do the more appealing you become to any potential clients.

It can be a good idea to go for treatments yourself at other salons as this can give you fresh, new ideas for your own treatments. The beauty shows are fab also for getting ideas.

I will always be looking for new treatments to add to my list.I dont think there will ever be a time when I think enough is enough.HTH

i agree, offering a wide treatment menu has always helped me to keep a strong client base.

i'm kinda thinking of ear piercing and eyelash perming at the moment as i don't currently offer these...i don't want to add to many things at once but no doubt by the time pro beauty comes along i'll have a list as long as my arm!!!!

Well you can do your ear piercing for as little as £10.00 through Sally's.

At the mo i only offer treatments for hands and feet, after my training in january i will be adding waxing to my services, then lots more training but not sure what or in what order i will be doing it, i will be asking my clients what they would be most interested in and take it from there

Thats the beauty with this industry there is always more to learn unfortunately with each new thing you have to have the qualification to go with it to be insured..who starts this who decides to say im now qualified to teach other people.I have been waxing for more than 1/2 my life and can wax every part of anyones body but if i want to offer brazillian and hollywood i need a qualification for insurance NO I DONT im a good waxer i am perfectly capable of adapting what i know to any area and i do very successfully and have done for years Pregnant women never any problem until someone starts a course, massage with stones can it really be that difficult that i need to pay out £400 the thing is i always abide by the rules and i do end up paying for things that often are just common sense.
