Hey, just popped Over from hair for some advice.

I'm 29 and have suffered with spots my whole life but the older I get it seems that for a few months my skins good and then bam! Loads of spots.

In my early twenty they were really sore under the skin on my cheeks but now I get the around my jaw instead. There's no head just purple pink marks and can be quite itchy.i tried to add a pic but it seems the app can't access my photos

Any ideas or advice gratefully received

Spots Around the jaw are usually hormonally connected. You're bound to be stressed so try using a calming aromatherapy candle in the evening and splash out on nice aromatherapy smellies for a lovely bath time ritual.

Have you seen your GP? Some contraceptive pills are really helpful for imbalanced skin conditions.

Make sure your face is really clean. You need a nice gentle face wash that you use with water. If you use facial wipes, make sure you wash your face after with a proper cleanser. Cleaning your make-up off, at lunch time, washing your face and reapplying your make up can make a difference. Stay away from aggressive products. Spot prone skin is sensitive.

You need to exfoliate regularly but gently. Try using a muslin face cloth with your usual face wash. Or a gentle creamy yet scrubby product. Holland and Barrett's Dr Organic's Rose Facial scrub is very nice.

Taking SkinAde really helps. It can take up to 10 days for the skin to clear but the results are astonishing.

Use a proper medicated spot cream on the fat spots - one bought from a pharmacy counter, not the supermarket shelf.

Finally a technical facial once a month can keep your skin in tip top shape. Galvanic treatments are good for spot prone skin management and High Frequency treatments zaps spots to help them heal. Blue light is also very helpful and can really reduce bumps deep under the skin.

Aloe Vera gel - best cure ever!
