Hey Girls,
This is my first time on here i dont really know what im doing yet :|
Im studing beauty and nails at college and want to know the advantages and disadvantages of Wraps, UV Gel, and Liquid & Powder? I'd prefer to ask someone who knows what i am than search the web and get all sorts :p
if anyone can help me please

Wraps

Advantages:
Quick application
No damage to natural nail
High profit margin
Available in many different designs

Disadvantages:
Not very durable
Can be torn upon application
Application can be tricky as a newbie
Not great for clients with bitten nails

UV Gel

Advantages:

Natural appearance
High gloss/shine
No strong odour
Available in many shades
Available in soak off format
Can play around as it cures when you want it to

Disadvantages:

Can be inappropriate for heavy handed clients
Has to be cured (time issues)
Queries over health & UV Light (curing)
Clients can hold their hands incorrectly resulting in some nails not curing
Has to be infilled and maintained


L&P

Advantages:

Hard wearing/durable
Easily built up
Comes in many shades
High profit margin
Strengthens natural nails
Can be used with forms or tips

Disadvantages:

Strong odour from liquid
Achieving correct ratio as a beginner can be difficult
Needs to be infilled/maintained
Long soak off time
Dull appearance before polish
Exposure to lots of chemicals
