Just seeing all you freelance & salons how have you gone about advertising your business?

You can do it through the use of social media. Free and very much easy to use.

Facebook is huge, gumtree and loads of other sites are free but as always word of mouth is probably your biggest seller. I found that having a recommend a friend and receive a discount worked really well for me - good luck xx
