Advice needed on insuring a home salon???

Hey peeps, Im just wondering if any of you have any information for me. We have just bought a house which has a conservatory at the back of the house, im planning on converting it into a salon for my hairdressing and eyelash extension. I have no idea what i need to do before I go ahead with it. My clients will have access from my back gate straight into the salon so they wont have to walk through the house. If any of you have any ideas or info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks xx

There's loads of threads on here re home salons, the one thing you would need to do first is check with your home insurance policy as some policies say that if you work from home this invalidates your insurance.
