Advice on shampoo

So I am posting here because (even though I am in the industry) this is a consumer query. I mainly have a vegan life style. And I am looking at trying some vegan shampoos and conditioners. But in this industry it's hard to find while keeping professional. So do you guys know any (decent) brands that are cruelty free?

My health food store has Giovanni which is apparently vegan but I'm not sure if I can trust it. Would I just be best off comparing my ingredients? I pretty much know which silicones to avoid.

We have our salons brand in my salon which is vegan but I find it too drying due to the foaming agents.

I have but the thing is Google isn't always reliable because the information is not by professionals but by vegans or people who think preservatives are the devil. That's why I made a thread. To see what people in the industry think.
