Hi all!
Was going to post this in hair geek, but read your thread about NOT doing that,so yay! it's working!! If we could just do the same in nail/skin would be great! Lol!
Anyway....I just wondered if any of you have a widow's peak or experience with one....no fringe(bangs) that I've tried (by a pro) have looked well on me, I'm so fed up with having my hair in a middle parting! Any suggestions welcome! Can't find any ideas on Google, apart from kourtney Kardashian, but can't afford a personal hairdresser right now! Lol would love to have some ideas before I go to the salon! Thanks peeps! :o)

Hi, what is the texture of your hair? Fine, thick, straight, wavy etc? How long or short is it?

The heavier your hair, the easier it is to tame and train. If you can give us a little more info please that would be great :)

I have quite thick, long straight hair. I never do much with it as regards heat,so its in fairly good condition. I'm 34,maybe that will be a factor?
Don't know if this helps?
Thanks so much,I really appreciate it!

Hi have you thought of a side fringe?

If it's thick, you maybe able to pull more fringe down abs try to tame ir with a round brush

Side fringe with a side parting? I have a horrifically bad cowlick in my fringe. I have to have a super heavy full fringe which has to e washed daily or I can wear a side fringe a bit lighter and I can make it two days before it's either pinned back or washed. As soon as moisture gets in it I get a ringlet and te fringe splits in half! Try it, just sweep it over and tuck it behind your ear so it's a bit baggy. Then it will give you a bit of an idea what you will look like x

Thanks girls! Would love a side fringe but thought I couldn't have one because it would just "flip up" at the peak, will I have to have it clipped into place for a while to train it? As my middle parting is so stubborn!

I have a cows lick and widows peak.... lucky me! Haha. I alternate between a heavy full fringe and a side fringe xxx

A side fringe pulled the opposite way the peak is flowing should hold the kick up down if it's thick enough.
Pity your in Galway we could have swapped nails for hair :)

Cowlicks are devils! I have one under my fringe and another random curl at the back somewhere that means Any short styles don't lie properly in that one area!! My daughter has them in the same place too, not as strong tho! Tell ya a couple of stories! Once as a kid I wanted my fringe trimming and mum wouldn't do it soooo I locked myself in te bathroom and got the nail scissors! I cut right at my cowlick stupidly short! My mum came in and went mental! So to teach me a lesson she cut it all to that length! Had to walk around with a short blunt fringe and one section pointing upwards!!!! Then a few months ago I was trimming my fringe when my daughter pushed me, only wanted to take off a few strays and ended up cutting a dam chunk out of the part with my cowlick! Had to pin it back with loads of lacker till it grew back lol!! Dam things!
