Advice please-Koleston Perfect

Hi all,
I have a client who I am currently using 9/1 with 30vol on the re-growth(her natural base is between level 5-6, gets coloured about every 4-5wks) with 7/7 & 8/3 lowlights with a few 20vol blonder bleach highlights scattered throughout. This is a beautiful colour on her as she asked for caramel tones with a very odd slightly darker done throughout - now she's booking in for her colour again & has asked for Honey tones this time!! I hate when clients start going on about caramels & honeys so basically she wants a mixture on honeys & (this is her words) nice different blondy tones throughout!!:grr: I asked if she has seen any pictures of colours that she likes because her idea of those colours could be different from mine but she said she hasnt seen any pictures that she could give me so I was just wondering what colours are any of you other geeks using to achieve this type of look. She is such a fussy client & she can really drain me sometimes with her never ending demands!!lol!!!

Hi there.

I think the best thing you should do is give her a consultation with you Koleston shade chart and discuss with her what shades she likes, then go from there.

to me, honeys and caramels are the same really. but yeh, sit her with the shade chart, find pictures of what you think she might be looking for...

i would say /7's and /3's would be best for her, but.....sounds like she doesnt really understand what she's looking for! xxx

I know i'm not being helpful but I would be tempted to buy a couple of jars of honey and some caramel and say - which colour do you want??:lol:

Hi guys-thank you all for your replies!! I totally agree with you Kimi about honeys & caramels being the same! That why I was so miffed when she ask for caramel then I gave her caramel then she asked for Honeys the next time!! I done think she really knows herself what she wants but I think I will sit her down with the shade chart & try to establish exactly what she wants - its just so fustrating too when shes a really fussy /client, she nearly expects me to be able to read her mind!!!:lol: Maybe the 7/3 with the 7/7 & 8/3 mite work do you think? was thinking about 7/73 too!! Agghhhhhh:lol:
