Hi all, my client has really thick coarse wavy/curly hair, its the type that looks great when its still damp but as it gradually dries it just gets bigger and bigger. She's tried serum and they don't seem to tame it enough, i've just lent her my l'oreal liss control gel/cream ( in a sort of flat tube?) not sure how that will perform.
Being mobile I don't get the chance to see all the other products that are used in a salon to just try a bit of each of them and I've already bought a few products that won't see the light of day again!:irked:.
anyone know what I mean? this is specific to that kind of thick strong wavy hair. I'm fine with taming curls. thanks. Pen.:lick:

You have just described my hair lol... I was using frizzease but then got sent a sample of Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Miracle Oil Finishing Treatment ...it is fantastic!!!!!! Really tames the hair leaving it silky smooth ... i have used it before straightning my hair and also if i leave it to dry curly... love it love it love it...its about £20 per 100ml depending on where you buy from :D

Also loreal mythic oil is fab! Bit cheaper too think its about £14 from sallys! Keeps it gorgeously tamed untill the next shampoo aswell!

Sent from my GT-I9000 using SalonGeek

I use macadamia oil from ultimate my hair is just like this and it totally tames my hAir! And helps with my daughters lol xx

I have the same problem with my hair, coarse, wavy, dry and frizzy - not the greatest. I live and die by Argan Oil, since I discovered it. You can use it on wet, semi dry or dry hair and it works a miracle like nothing else. It makes my hair smooth and easy to manage and gets rid of the dried, processed look. I pay about 12 pounds for a bottle and it lasts about 3 months.
