I've a client coming in on Thursday she has red/copper 6.46ish virgin hair, she wants to go a 3 shades lighter a 9ish blonde but doesn't want highlights, global...

I've no idea where to start.. She wants to be blonde, I'm using affinage...

Well would she prefer the look of a tint, or a highlift look as you have both options to choose from

Do affinage do a 9.12? Apply with 30vol ends first then roots simples, perry will be able to help you better with shade choice

Haha could say the same to you most of the time, i have an affinage radar, you have a matrix radar it seems

Fab thank you! I was worried the 9 wouldn't lift.. Its a new client so wanted to get it right.. She doesn't want it too gold..

I wouldn't say do 9,1 & 9,2 as that makes violet ash, just go straight over with 9,1 and 30vol

Her hair looked like there was colour on her hair, I asked her 3 times was there any thing on her her hair... She said no! I explained that if there was anything on her ends they wouldn't lift...

So I applied 9.1 & 30 as you suggested and her roots lifted lovely but her ends didn't.. I asked her again, she said I used a wash in wash out... Oh so you had coloured your hair!!!!

Why do clients not understand what we are saying.. Give me strength!

Because they are stupid my lovely. If it wasn't done that day they don't get it. I tend to now ask, when was it last coloured, works better than is there any.
Perry is great with affinage. Told me to go for the 9.2 as my toner, and I must say..,. I f****n love it! Xoxo
