Advice please

Hi I'm over from beauty and wondered if any hair geeks could help?

My mums best friend is getting married a week on Friday. She apparently coloured her hair herself with an OTC colour in red. Her natural colour is auburn. The roots went bright red and the rest a darker red. She then bought an OTC remover the same night which has thankfully stripped her hair and other than drying it out a little it has come out virtually damage free. The problem is she wants to cover the slight bits of grey and so has bought a permanent OTC auburn.

I'm no hair expert but I've advised that she go to a hairdresser but she is adamant that she wants to colour it herself.

Can anyone advise what will happen if she does this? Her hen night is Friday and she is going to colour her hair tomorrow. I'm just worried that her hair will fall out or something!

She is booked in with me tomorrow for beauty treatments so if I could advise her tom that would be great. Many thanks 😃

Depending how dark her mid length and ends are, she could possibly end up with orange roots instead of bright Red...

Other than suggest what you already have...to see a professional....we can't offer anymore advice than that for a DIY OTC job for a non hair pro
