hi girls

wondered if anyone could help me on this one.

i have a home learn airbrush kit
an one of my staff have blocked the gun up
i have tried to repair but not successfull

i have been looking on the capital hair an beauty site
an can see they have a airgun there for sale £69
a creations one, do you think this would fit my essential nails compresser ?

sorry if i sound dumb but new to airbrushing

advice much appreciated

thanks x

have you tried soaking your gun? Take it all apart and soak in a solution of windolene and water or airbrush cleaner (windolene is cheaper). leave it in there overnight and then given the stubborn bits a scrub with a stiff little paint brush. this should dislodge all the paint especially if it is specific airbrush paint...

i would do what dianne suggests as in the long run you dont want to fork out for something that is easily sorted.
also if all else fails essentail nail website does sell their airbrush online

Any airbrush will work off your compressor. You may have to add a fitting to make the connection to the gun either larger or smaller, but these parts are easy to buy form any AirSupply shop etc.

Thanks for the reply girls

my partner now tells me that he has had look at it and not only is it
blocked ( which he has unblocked i think now )

but when i go to blast the air instead of the paint it will only blast paint an not just air
if you get what i mean lol...

basically i have a credit note for capital for £40 thats why was thinking of putting the difference an getting the gun from there.

i looked on the essential nails site for the gun bit its more expensive on there

anyway will go to capital tomorrow and have a look just thought id ask you all
for advice before i purchased it .

will let you all know how i got on

Thank- you guys !

If you contact Essential Nails I'm sure they provide an 'airbrush service' for approx £15 - one of the other nail geeks told me about it - worth a try!!!
