Hi all, I had been using acrylics for about 10 years with no problems, then moved to gel nails for around 10-15 years. I developed a severe reaction with ecxema symptoms, very painful. I tried using mma free products, with no success. I gave my nails a break for about a year and have just recently applied acrylics again. I have had a very slight, not even worth mentioning reaction that disappeared by using ecxema cream for two days. I just thought I would Sahara this with you as all the advice I received and everything that I read online directed me to never have false nails again, that I would always react etc etc. Each case is different, however am pleased to say that I can have beautiful nails again.

What I would like to know from you guys is, what would be the best acrylic product to use in relation to allergy free mma free etc.

I believe from my gel experience, that I need to keep away from all gel and uv products.

Thanks in advance
:)

You still had a mild reaction because you gave you body a break from the irritant. It will be more severe next time. But I don't expect you to believe me so go ahead, you're cured, lol.

I'm not a doctor by any means, but I've outgrown both my hay fever and pet allergies. It's actually quite common for allergies to change over time so it's entirely possible that OP has become less allergic. Allergies develop out of pretty much nowhere for some people so it would make sense that the opposite can happen. Good news if that is the case

But like I say, I'm not a doctor

Having hayfever or pet allergies is completely different to having a reaction to a chemic. It will more than likely get worse over time
