I have been working as a nail technician for around 13 yrs , now the last year i was getting rush and itchy so apparently I became allergic and I tried everything like gloves and powder free and latex free i still itch and itch i,m going to see a dermatologist on Friday but did somebody else experience something similar? Pls

Hiya, I don't know how to post links but I've put a few posts re: allergies to acrylic and gel polish you might be able to see them from my profile? If it's acrylic you are using try CJP nail systems (white bottle monomer) as it's HEMA free and has completely stopped my itching and blisters. I'm looking at light elegance for gel polish, again HEMA free. I'm no expert but from what I can gather HEMA is one of the most common allergens when it comes to nails xx

Ive just noticed you are in Malta I don't know about shipping from there but if there is anything HEMA free where you are get a sample kit it could really help xx

Hi thanks for the info , i use both gel and acrylic but i will see thru this hema thing , hema must be the dangerous stuff then , i will start looking in malta first, then i will have a lookon line , I mean it, s better that i can use acrylic at least than nothing at all

Hiya sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you x I'm not sure about gel...I think someone here mentioned brisa (cnd) for allergies but you would need to check. Polygel (nail harmony) is HEMA free. If it's gel polish you require I know that light elegance is hema free. HEMA is the most common allergen as far as I can tell x good luck x

Thanks for the info , i used brisa gel but i dont fined it very strong , i am useing cotton gloves and nital gloves on top so far so good but dr told me to be very careful, but thanks again
