I'm asking this for my wife, who seems to be allergic to Latex gloves. Thing is she handles Acetone a lot and from what i understand Acetone eats through Nitrile gloves very quickly. Are there any alternatives she can use safely and comfortably?

You can get Latex free gloves

arent latex free gloves usually Nitrile?

Nitrile gloves are hands down the best gloves a nail tech can work with. Your wife is using gloves that are too thin. The best thickness is around 5-7 mils.. Anything thicker than 7 mils is hard to wear and work with. Thicker nitrile gloves tend to be more expensive but its best for doing pedicures. Thinner nitrile gloves are better for when doing gel polishes.
