I thought that it was a Mr and Mrs who started off...then they split up and so one took the name Bio Sculpture and the other Calgel....??

not too sure about that, i am only going on what my local distributer has told me! thats all i know about it..

I'm afraid I struggle to understand this - Yes, Bio is an expensive gel (totally worth every penny IMO, as nothing matches it for quality) but when you do a breakdown per set (and if you haven't, I suggest you do) its still pretty much only pence different.

Lets put it this way, if I lost just one client (and beleive me I would lose at least one...my clients LOVE Bio) the switch would have cost me, not saved me.

For the peace of mind that Bio gives me, as every other gel I have used doesn't match up in lastability, durability or range and pigment of colours, I would stick with what I know works, as opposed to make the expensive mistakes I have previously made, trying to save a penny or two.

For whoever asked about Bio colours over Options.....Options doesn't grip the the nail anywhere near as well as Bio....not even with Opti-bond and Affixit. I do occasionally use Options colours over Bio clear gel, when they have a colour I can't get from Bio (I love their glitter gels) but my clients tell me even that doesn't last like Bio alone does!

I too have the expense problem with bio sculpture although i love the colours i just can't afford to use it anymore so I have found a new gel called gogel which has been made from the lady who first invented bio sculpture and apparently it is half the price and alot better in stregnth. I am doing the conversion in a week so I can let you know how i find it?

yes please let me know how u go!
