Oooops lol,
I was just teasing. I'm not THAT greedy xxxx :green:

My way of saying that is excellent Value and anyone would be crazy not to take up the offer,
lol. I know, still a great question to be considered though :)

I really haven't thought about it before now. Speaking off of the cuff, I would discourage it only because it is a fairly decent financial investment we make into making such a good valued offer and I would prefer leaving the space open for someone new. Plus, I think people get far better value in Skill Building or Master classes once they have product and the initial training. I'll look into it though! :)

actually its a good question...sorry to change the topic of the thread but ive often wondered if youd be allowed to do the same conversion more than once....I didnt wonder because of the products but because of the opportunity of getting more valuable time with experts...I know you can get skill building classes and one to ones but you can also get help with other things when you ask on conversion days as well if you see what i mean!

Anna you could do it as many times as you liked!!

i've just bought a new Entity Kit (the large one) and you get a free conversion trainning with it! and Michael Hall one of the reps is really helpfull and always gaves me loads of tips and advice when he comes to see me, i would suggest them to anyone as the products are fantastic!

ps. For what its worth, I agree with you - changing brands should be easier for customers like us.
What is a customer like you??

However 'Education' is probably one of the biggest revenue streams for distributors in this country in the nail biz
this is the most hysterical thing I have ever read!!

it seems its just how this industry works in the UK. I think its quite difficult to make money from just selling product alone:lol:

Jax... what you have written is very far from the truth. We don't make money from education at all (not at all) but, we BELIEVE in education because it makes GREAT NAIL TEKS and that makes for a BETTER INDUSTRY for all.

Many nail companies out there don't give a stuff about education HENCE... you can buy whatever you want from them. S2/CND are not that kind of company nor we will ever be! I hope this helps shed light! If you want to know more or have more Questions  PM me! :)

I am not 100% sure but I think I saw an ad in this months scratch or pb that Ezflow are also doing free conversions - maybe give them a call.

As said by other geeks, some companies are offering free training with the purchase of the kit, I can't think it can get any easier for us, its a bargain in my opinion!

The majority of companies do trial kits, these are cheap, so you can try alot of different brands to see what you'd like to train in. Then you would go on to train with that company.

The only thing about trail kits is that IMO its not the greatest way to truly trial a system. In a lot of ways it would be like going out to test drive a car, but all you get is the 4 wheels an engine and steering wheel. Sure you can get an idea for how it drives, but you really won't get the full experience of what it is truly like owning the car.

I quite agree ... I just would never contemplate trying a product without the full instructions on how to use it and the help from the experts who know everything about it. It just doesn't make sense to me at all to use something about which I knew nothing.

I think we when we are new to this we do ask questions such as the thread starter has because we don't know the industry and we are yet to understand and learn about all the in's and outs....I know when i started out i actually had the nerve to ask my nail tech if she would sell me some gel so i could do my own nails...(ohh the shame)... I was miffed at first that she said no...but when she told me why the answer was no and gave me examples of "would you ask your dentist to sell you a drill to do your fillings"...i began to understand how ignorant i was for asking in the first place.

Thats why this site is so fantastic...you come here and ask your questions...you will get straight and honest answers from those who do know the industry and all the in's and outs....its then up to you to trust what they are saying is for your own good and not for any other reason.

i seem to remember we have been through the 'trial lits' thing before....and they are are simply there for you to see the colour of the product, the consistency and workability...not for use on clients, without the specific product knowledge associated with that product, especially going from brand to brand...

There are alot of offers out there today, it is a compentitive industry, so do some calling around, and see what customer service you get...

speaking for myself you would get a free sample (see comments above) a price list, brochures and all the questions answers you need to help you make a decision on which brand to go with, in addition, you would be offered a free conversion wheher it be gel, or L&P you wanted.

Go with your experience, i have had bad customer service before now, and still gone with the product, just because 'i wanted it' i changed prodcut a few months later...no backup!!!!

you learn from your mistakes....

That's great. I think many companies do this now though - buy the kit get the education FREE. It's something we at CND have been doing forever and a great and positive way to trial a brand!
