Hi all, I have recently purchased Gelish structure gel - anyone already use it? Any tips for application and do you notice a difference? Thanks

Use it before colour (after foundation) to smooth any ridges/imperfections or use it after colour (before top it off) to add strength.
I’ve been using it for years, wouldn’t be without it.
It’s also good for setting crystals in. x

GSG is marketed as a heavy duty ridge filler, provide strength to weak nails and as an overlay for nail art and you can soak it off.

However, my experience with this product is that it is rather versatile in that you can also do repairs on nails that have broken prior to the appointment and offering this treatment - temporary short extensions - is an option that is appealing to some clients as they can be soaked off.

thanks both for your replies, so if I want to use it as a strengthener do I use it after colour but before top coat? And how do set Gems in with? Thanks!

For strength, yes, after colour, before top coat :)
To set gems, place a decent bead onto the nail in your preferred shape, place the gems in so the gel squishes up around the edges and then before curing, gently butt your top coat just up to the edge of the structure gel :) You may also need to use a detail brush to brush your top coat in and around the crystals. Naio nails did a video recently which shows this method of setting gems.
