Any trans friendly salons in Derbyshire?

hi I'm M2F transgender and looking for a trans friendly hairdresser near chesterfield derbyshire either mobile or salon based would be fine.

i have experienced hate once before and this knocked my confidence somewhat. when i asked to have my split ends trimed and a style that i wanted all i got was a regular 2 minuite trim and sent on my way

That's awful! There shouldn't be such a thing as a trans friendly salon, you should be able to go any salon and treated like any other woman.

Don't let that knock your confidence, most hairdressers are not like that at all x

Id like to apologise on behalf of the industry for your experience, trust me we're not all like that. It's irrelevant that you're trans, you're a paying client that should be provided with the best service possible. Sorry I don't know any salons in Derbyshire😕

Do you know any other transgender people? Maybe you could ask them were they go, that way you can be 100% sure you will be treated with respect x

Shocked at how you've been treated. I always feel quite privileged when I've been approached by trans clients for make up advice and support as I think they may find it rather nerve wracking and chose me!

I'm too far away too.
Just showing some support,
I had a trans gender client for yrs before she moved away. A very sheepish man on the phone and upon consultation he told me. The gloves we're on...us against the clock ...completely transformed him, new colour, cut and make up (I'm no mua but worked with the contents in the carrier bag he came in with.)

She looked gorgeous to the point a lady came in and said..wow I want to look like her...and off she went with her head held high....mission accomplished!

So take no nonsense from ignorant people, you hold your head high x
