I have always thought my lifting issues were down to poor bead consistency. Having recently done the CND conversion course I actually think it is due to poor structure. I don't think my apex is on the right place. Woukd this cause lifting or woukd the nails just break. I both sculpt and use tips it seems to happen more on clients who have them a little longer x

Sound like a bit of both... Proper bead ratio will absolutely help with lifting. For longer nails, you want to place your apex further back towards the cuticle :)

I have spent hours watching you tube clips and reading nail guides and I am certain my structure is not right. I am confident with my beads as a result of doing the conversion course. We practised in great detail and the tutor was happy. I think my apex and c curve need working on. Thank you for your help. I will remember the reposition on the apex with longer nails x
