Apprentice - please help!

I'm new to this so I'm not sure how to start.. But here it goes,

I've just turnt 21 and I'm bored of my accounts job I've been here since I was 17 *yawn*
I'm hoping to start a weekend course in NVQ beauty therapy 2, but Id like to get an apprenticeship so I can learn on the job as well, can anybody help??

I'm located near Bexleyheath & am willing to travel

Hiya. Im not actually in your area but i would suggest going into salons in your area, introduce yourself, ask about being taken on as an apprentice or even getting a 'saturday girl' position, offer to work for free at first as a saturday girl, its all fantastic experience. If you are volunteering somewhere for free then a position becomes available, you could be offered it! Just an idea, good luck!

Thank you for your advice, definitely something ill consider
Ill be run ragged for 8 months but it'll all be worth it in the long run I hope, anything to leave accountancy work lol
