Hiya geeks

Right I've been searching the Internet and YouTube and found these I know it's quite an old thing to do and I'm sure a lot of you have done these years ago I'm going to give it a try on myself but I need to ask a few things........before you shout lol:lol: I have done a search on here lol

Obviously i use tips now does the finished aquarium go on the tip of your natural nail lol and how do I build the stress area, apex to give strength without covering the aquarium or do I go over the whole thing with clear acrylic I'm just a bit confussed because a lot of these vids have no speaking in them just a whole load of pointing at the nail .....not good for someone like me lol

Any advice would be lovely xxx

No there wasn't a link it's when you stick two tips together like a size 2 and then a 1 over the top and you seal all the sides put glitter and sparkleys in it fill with water seal it then you have a lil mini aquarium in your tips lol there great x

oooh sounds fab... must investigate!

Thank you x

Thank u.I did read this but want to do it with acrylic if possible and wanted to know basically do the same rules apply like when u use normal tips and acrylic lol xx

Ah sorry :o

If you do figure the nails out I'd love to see them :) They seem a little too complicated for my brain LOL

I'm Gunna gv them a good go tomorrow night as I think they will take a while and I haven't got to do the school run lol x

Anyone pleeeeaaasssseeee x

I just had a quick google, I think the clear acrylic will be fine over it, preblending the well before applying it to the nail plate should help? Just proceed as normal then building the apex? I'm not sure how much of a weight difference there would be to a single tip, you might have to factor that in with the apex?

I'm guessing it would only last for that set though as shortening the tip after a few weeks would destroy them.

Sorry I just got really curious and started waffling LOL

I found this video on Youtube quite helpful.

Crystal, rather than try to explain it, here's a video that goes step by step. Watch it and if you have any questions, let me know.

I did so many of these back in the day, I grew to hate them!

Aquarium Nail STEP - BY - STEP Tutorial :::...

I just found a company that makes tips especially for the aquarium look. They are clear and have a pocket in them to put the decor. They also sell a non evaporating fluid to use. You just seal the ends with a UV sealant. Tue company is called Glizt and Glam. Or Google Aqua 20 non evaporating fluid and a link will come up. So curious about these!

2 tips just seems bulky and seems like would have alot of week spots,

Insted of making with 2 tips try 1 tip applied
Thin overlay
Then making the top part on a arabela form (fantasy form)
Or
A pop it
Or
Even the clear applicator left over from a Dashing Diva French wrap,

For a more snow globe effect try it woth a dissected googly eye.

Another thing you may have issues with is the water going mucky after a day or 2 as the glitters coating brakes down, I think using distiled water will stop this.

I stock these tips to sell. They are easy to do and make a slim enough nail to still look good. The fluid I use is either baby oil or glycerine. Both safe and cheap to use. The tips come in packs of 100 and are supplied with a syringe to put the fluid into them. Message me if interested.

I know this was a long time ago but do you still stock them and what's the price please. Xxx
