Are my lashes really as short and fine? I'm getting told they are!

Hi everyone.

I recently got my lashes taken off after having them on for around 6 months. It was single lash extensions, never had a problem with them and they looked good in itself.

Problem just is that I found my extensions too short - to the point where I would still feel the need to wear mascara to really make them stand out. I got told I had very fine and short lashes and while I know my lashes aren't the thickest or the longest, I think they're "normal" and not particular sparse or thin. I know it depends on your own lashes how much they can have on without being damaged, but am I really doomed not to have longer extensions? When I first started up I never got told which length or curve I got on and I still don't know this day today.

I know my picture isn't the greatest and it's probably easier to tell in real life, but how much length would you put on me? In the end I didn't feel like I was getting my money's worth because the extensions simply didn't stand out that much. I'm getting Russian volume at a different salon tomorrow to see if that can make me more satisfied.

The thing is if someone put too long of a curl on your lashes they would droop then you would complain. Sounds like you want volume so russian volume would be your best bet for a dramatic effect. But your lashes do look rather short. In terms of fine I cant tell just from a photo.
