Ash toner and bleach

Hi peeps.
In this picture would you say it's just bleached foils with an ash toner or is there another colour going through there?
My friend currently just has bleach foils so very blonde and would like it an ash colour like the picture. Shall i just pop on an ashy toner? (If so what are your faves) or do i need to add another colour into the foils.

There are multi tones visible but I'm assuming this is just from varying porosity, some sections have probably been highlighted more than others.
You need to use a very light violet toner first, and then re-tone with an ash. Or if you have them in the same brand, you could maybe mix the ash with the violet?

Which brand and shade would you recommened for this? Client currently has 1inch of base 6 root and the rest is all bleach with slight yellow tone.

If you're looking to do the root drag too, then I'd apply wella colour touch 6/71 on roots and drag down,Then I'd apply 2part 8/81 +1part 10/6 +1.9% on the mid lengths and ends, making sure they blend together.
