Hi,
As industry novice I'm looking for advice from hairdressing professionals on their take on the following:
- The appetite for people wanting to work as stylists in terms of just hair blow drying, setting and updo 's (no cutting, colour involved)
- What type of pay would people be looking for specifically for this type of service if we were to provide the salon, products and marketing. i.e hour rate, flexible contract, chair hire?
- Tips on scheduling, is it advisable to apply shift work for lunch times and evening during the busy times as well as some full time resource?
- How best to recruit people in terms of recommended recruiters or training schools which we should approach directly?
- If you are a solon owner or self employed etc is styling in this sense something that you find customers request a lot? what % of your business do you think comes from this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and please feel free to ask questions if more info is needed to help answer the above.

Thanks

I be bored out of my tree just styling hair with no cutting or colouring involved.
