I fancy doing waxing at home, I know how to, just wondered what was more cost effective. For example getting the whole lot from wax pot to blocks or getting kits such as Veet warm wax kit with re usable strips etc..I mainly plan on doing bikini line and some facial nothing else.

Thanks!

I have tried the high street options when on holiday and not near my wax pot and they are all a load of cr@p for want of a better word. Plus they are not necessarily that cheap. For all the hassle and the bad results you may as well go to a salon or do a professional training course and then attempt it on yourself. I am all for saving money but not when it is at the risk of causing burns, bruising, tearing the skin or on something that just doesn't do what it is meant to. Face and bikini are the two most likely areas that something will go wrong and not being able to walk, sit down for a week or show your face in public is worth a couple of extra quid!
