I have been making my own hair bonds for two years now (approx. 3000 every month!) for use with micro-ring extensions. I have used various brands of hair and never had a problem. Last week I purchased some weave from Hairtrade.com and was completely unable to bond it! The glue was not sticking to the hair properly - some wouldn't bond at all and fell apart, whilst others formed a bond but the hair just completely shed until there were just 5 or 6 strands left attached. The problem was not the glue as I tested it using some other hair and instantly made 5 perfect bonds. I also used a 2nd type of glue on the 'bad' hair and this still didn't work. Hairtrade are refusing to give me refund, saying that it is down to my poor technique and even tried to give me a lesson on how to make glue bonds! I am more than angry. Has anybody else had this problem with bad quality hair?
