Hi All
Looking for some tips, I am relatively new to colouring. I have a client with a dark bob, she wants a caramel balayage look but really doesn’t want bleach on her hair. It is quite fine and easily damaged. I use L’Oréal and thinking to use tint as she only wants 2 - 3 levels of lightening with a diarichesse through the roots to blend and give richness. What’s everyone’s thoughts on using the tint rather than bleach?
Thanks x

Depends whats already on her ends. Rule number 1 is tint doesnt lift tint so will only work if the hair is virgin hair or already very light.

Like jade said if it already has colour on then you can't, but if the hair is virgin hair, you just treat it like any other colour.

First establish the natural base,

Pick your colour and peroxide depending on how many lifts you want.

Remember when you are going lighter it will always expose warmth so when your mixing your colour make sure it's got some cool tones in there.

Good luck and post some before and after pics xx

Thanks ladies
She has just used a wash in wash out at home but a long time ago so should be all good xx
