Balmain extensions don't match my hair! Advice/help appreciated

Hi hair geeks, I'm beauty geek, just popped over for some help please!

I had Balmain extensions put in on Sat.

I have white blonde hair but the extensions are a very yellow blonde and look noticeably different (my dad and brothers pointed this out at family christening on Sunday lol so if a man notices its noticeable)

Went to salon today to see what they could do and said they would get back to me.

They rang later and said they had checked with the suppliers and the hair cant be dyed but they would put a toner on them to try and tone down the yellow brassiness.

They said they had been trying this out in salon and found a toner that worked ok.

Ahhh what do you all think who are used to working with Balmain extensions?

I dont have a clue about hair stuff but just want to get a nice result so just would like to hear what you think I should ask for /get done.

Any help/advice appreciated!

They can tone them, but that will void the guarantee. You might find they'll blend in better after a few washes, if you didn't notice in the salon it can't be that bad. Sometimes in certain light the extensions might throw out a different tone. Can you post a picture?

Yeah I agree post a pic up hun, toner could work but its a tricky one i think if it was me and i was that unhappy i would either ask to get them replaced or ask the salon to sign a disclaimer to guarantee the hair should the toner not take or make any difference. Sometimes Hair extensions are not an exact match but as there is so much hair it kinda takes over the rest. However I do agree though I'd be worried if a man noticed! it was noticed in the salon the owner said it was just the light :lol:

ive washed them tonight so will see if that makes any differrence

ill make sure and raise that point with them about the toner and gaurantee issue

Hi hunni, I've had 2 clients lighter that the lightest blond available in extensions and both have managed to achive white blonde with just using silver shampoo ....sounds simple but it really works x

Yeah I had a client who was really light blonde and colder hue than the Balmain level 10. So I toned it with a basic silver toner but I have tried with a shampoo and that works too.

Just a little update... went back got great service, they used a toner and it looks just lovely now.

OMG I LOVE my hair!!!!!!! It's wow they did a great job and makes me feel amazing.

Nice to get good customer service
