Really showing myself up here but could somebody please bring this out of date hairdresser up to speed? What are BANGS?

I always presumed this means the front sections of the hair coming forward from the top of the head towards and including the fringe.

when I lived in Austrailia I had a client from Canada and she asked for her ''bangs' to be cut... her fringe it turned out to be lol

Hehe yup its just what american people call a fringe! They probably laugh at use for calling it a fringe but hey ho! Hehe =) x
