The recent announcement of the CoolBrands List 2014 sees beauty brands Dermalogica and Aveda take one of the seventy-two spaces reserved for the coolest of the cool when it comes to brand identity.
The list, published by The Centre for Brand Analysis, is all about compiling a list of the coolest, hippest, smartest brands out there as voted for by 2,000 consumers and a panel of 37 designers, style experts and prominent figures from the worlds of TV, fashion and music.
Both panels were asked to base their votes on factors such as style, innovation, originality, authenticity, desirability and uniqueness and with stylish packaging, eco-friendly approaches, a clear social responsibility ethos and great products that have lasted the test of time, it's no surprise to this beauty buff that they made the cool list of the year.
