Hello!
I'm looking to change the range of products i'm currently using for beauty treatments and I've contacted Aromatherapy Associates -amongst others, they've sent some samples and their info pack, the starting order is £2k -way too much for me. But I've fallen in love with their products after using the samples. They really cleared my skin and smell divine! So, I've order some products off HQhair.co.uk and started using them on myself -they're so expensive, for a cleanser, toner, face oil and moisturising £127, but they will last me a while -hopefully.
thing is £2k is too much for me and i was thinking -if I just buy the retails size to start with and start offering thetreatments with Aromatherapy Associates, is this legal or i have to go through the normal route? Also, do you know any similar product but cheaper -just love the smell of aromatherapy products.
Many thanks

July

Hi July ... I am supposing you are an insured and trained professional? You have not filled in your profile so I have no idea.

If you are, then you must know that to use any company's product line, it is just plain silly not to train with them and learn how to use them so that their use is effective and helps to grow your business.

If you are in business already as a profession, then invest in yourself and get a small bank loan and get the things you need to progress. Buying retail sizes and paying retail prices is no way to buy products for your business .. it is the least economical and the most expensive ... madness.

I presume this company has a minimum order precisely to discourage people from setting up and using their line because they want to maintain their professional image.

i personally wouldnt try doing it the wrong way as you could get into trouble, i think its too risky, why not try save up for a little while and then do the training, i cant afford a mega expensive skin care range for clients at the moment and plus there isnt much call for it so i use one that is cheaper , there isnt much point in me having £2k in products sat there that dont get used  , hth dee x

When I took on Nimue you get LOADS of retail stuff in the package - and I'm sure this is the same with the other makes. When people have a facial they WILL buy the products, so how will you retail this stuff? because if it's that good then they WILL buy it. I made my money back from Nimue within in about 6 months with a combination of retail and treatments. I agree with Geeg, take out a business loan and invest in your future.

Yes I agree. The first time I had a Dermalogica facial I bought a moisturiser - since then I have replaced all my facial lotions and potions with Dermalogica. If I'd not had a facial I may never have even tried it.
