Hi geeks,

I am trying to decide on a price list for the eye treatments that my beauty therapist will be offering.

Now. Having not done eyelash tinting/perming or eyebrow tinting, or facials (Basic + Aromatherapy) - I dont really know exactly how much product will be used per treatment, or how long an eyelash tinting kit would last etc etc.

So - I am picking your brains, can you geeks tell me how much you charge for any or all of the above treatments, and roughly how much product is used also?

I have spoken to the girl who will be doing the treatments, but as she is from a different town, she is used to slightly cheaper prices than where I am.

I'd just like to get a broad range of prices if I can.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :green:

eyelash tinting kits are roughly £20 (give or take) up here we charge £7 for eyelash tint, £4.50 for eyebrow tint

our facials vary from £16 (basic) - £25 (aromatherapy), but others in my town charge alot more, depending on what products they use.

hope this is of some use to ya chick

I charge

£6.50 eyebrow wax or shape
£6.00 eyebrow tint
£7.00 eyelash tint
£13 - mini facial
£20 - full luxury facial

I say tinting can last 2-4 weeks, you dont use much product, i use about an inch or less of tint & 3 drops of peroxide per mix - its very profitable x

Hey fifi

Well my prices are as follows

eyelash tint 6.50
eyebrow tint 6.50
mini facial 15.00
full facial 25.00

Eyelash perming is also a good treatment to offer i charge £20 for these.

I do a bright eye package which includes....

eyelash perm & tint, eyebrow shape & tint £29.50.....do loads of them

tint stuf is so in expensive its very profitable - and facials...to do LOADS of them i personally think you have to go for a decent brand nimue/decleor/dermalogica/clarins i know they are horrendously expensive though.

waxing - again very profitable.

Best thing i can suggest is go into every salon in your area and get a price list.

prices vary so much...price yourself according to your area.

Amb xxx

Eyelash Tint £9.50
Eyebrow Tint £ 4.00
Eyebrow Wax £5.00

Facials start at £13.50 for Express Facial (30min) & £25 1 hr.

I charge more for tinting as i am mobile but if i were in a salon i would proabably charge about £7 for an ELT

The products are pretty negligible as far as cost is concerned provided your therapist works cost effectively. Eye lash tint takes about 15 mins, eye lash perm and tint takes me an hour, and my facials take an hour.

Hi Fifi, I would think because of the huge variations in prices because of the regions, it might be a good idea to, like me, get a load of prices from say 6 local salons to you, then find your medium. Prices up north will nearly always be cheaper than the southern areas.
The contents of both the tint and perm kits will provide at least 20 treatments. As the others have said-very profitable.
As for facials, you will see from the price lists that you hopefully get, what skincare ranges are used in the area. You may want to offer something different.

Thanks for the replies!

I have already got 5 leaflets, the only thing is, there isnt actually another salon in the town centre, where I will be based that offers eye treatments. The one that has opened up the road does do facials, and I am aware of thier prices.

All the other salons are either home based, or a good few miles out of the town centre.

The prices you geeks have said so far seem pretty similar to what I have here :) and thanks for letting me know about usage of the kits etc. Its good to know.

Just a bit of common sense here.............don't forget to add in the cost of your cotton wool pads, couch roll, paper hankies, cotton buds and distilled water (if used). It all soon adds up !
My charges are - Brow waxing £5

I charge:

Brow wax £4
Brow tint £5
lash tint £7
lash perm £11
Mini facial £12(30 min)
Luxury facial £20(1 hr)
:green: :green: :green:

mine are
eyelash tint £6
eyebrow tint £4.50
express facial (30 mins) £12
full facial (1 hr) £20
eyebrow wax £5

When buying a tinting kit check the back of the packaging as some tints can't be used the same day as an eyelash perm you need to wait 24 hrs and vice versa. Double check before you buy.

Great tip! Thanks for that!!:green: x

Talking about varying prices I'm mobile in London and charge:
£40 facial (1hr 15 mins)
£30 lash perm (45 mins)
£12 Lash tint (20 mins)
£10 brow shape with or without tint (15 mins)

You deffinately need to charge by what you think people are willing to pay for a quality treatment in your area. As an idea adding something like a little head massage during perming or a eye massage after tinting can enable you to charge higher :) Also if you are the only salon that does these eye treatments you have a monopoly. x

sorry for just replying to this post as I'm sure the price list is complete by now! pressed page 4 instead of 2 (ohps)

eyelash tint £9.50
eyebrow tint £5.50
lash and brow tint £13.00
facial £32-35 depending which one they have
eyelash perm with free tint £25.00
As mentioned earlier it very much depends on quality of your facial range and area you are in.Dont under price yourself but just as important not to overprice yourself. We never have %10 off or any type of bargain days/packages.HTH xx
