Hi guys,
Well basically I am a complete newbie to the beauty world as I have just completed my events management degree but after all that I have decided my heart is not in that but instead I wish to get in to the beauty therapy world. All is not lost with my degree as once I have 5/10 years beauty experience behind me I would ideally like to open up my own salon and my course has taught me a lot in regards to business and staff management.
Anyways... I am just looking for a little friendly advice, I would like to get started as soon as possible and have looked over a few courses but I am unsure which course are credible and are good for a beginner who is either looking to work in a salon or mobile beauty, I am not really interested in a course that includes hair(but not totally against it). Has any one got any ideas of courses in Manchester, do you feel it is beneficial to choose a private school/course or is normal college just as good? I don't want to get involved in these 2 day courses I know it takes a hell of a lot longer to learn beauty techniques. I was thinking at courses that are 3 month+. What are the usual acceptable prices to be paying?
Thanks in Advance
