Ive just qualified in Acrylics, but have no idea what brushes to buy or where the best place is to get them, as so many people have told me different things.

I think it really is personal preference, that's your main tool and needs to feel comfortable to you, everyone will give you different answers, think it's just best to try a couple of different ones x

I had a kolinsky with my course and it's ruined (probs managed that myself as I was training )
I then went sallys and brought 2 new kolinskys and put it this way they malted like hell and I was constantly pulling bristles out of my nail trainer And they just didn't clean up around the cuticle area or side walls,Iv just brought one from cjp systems (you'll find them on facebook) and used it today and it's brilliant, allows me to do what I need to do and it's kept its shape! Xx

NSI's precision brush for me.

CND Ultrasculpter for me, I think its just called #8 now. Its your main tool, like scissors for a hairdresser, you need to get the best you can.

Nsi royal precision had mine 10 years cost fortune but you never need another brush again.
To store upside down I use the phone charger cable clip which is sticky on the underside and it fits in that.
Just remember to clean it properly after use !

I've always used the Royal Precision too but recently changed from Nsi products to CJP nail systems and bought their brushes and I prefer it! The no 10 is the same size as the Nsi one but it's much cheaper and a dream to work with

Ciderella what do you think to CJP as popped to nsi? I use nsi at the minute but considering a change!

I prefer it. It's lovely to work with.
You work dry with it and it stays exactly where you put it yet you can still work with it.
There are 2 monomers but the master monomer is the quicker of the two and similar to Nsi setting time. I had to do 3 bridesmaids with Nsi Rose blush this week after using CJP recently and I couldn't believe the difference between them.
It's also much easier to file, soak off and my clients said it feels lighter and more natural and they have little lifting or none at all.
I'm delighted with it!

Well if my brush has lasted 10 years then there really would be no reason to purchase another brush or change ...
I couldn't change brands I have every single Nsi colour in their polish pro range and their acrylic and all art colours and would cost me an absolute fortune to change or re brand.

Soak off is rather quick tho?! Unless it's glitter ( which I need angle grinders)

I have all acrylic colours too and if a client requests one I'll use it but I'm not replacing them as I now have all the CJP colours and my clients were tired of no new Nsi acrylic colours. CJP have another 18 being released in October [emoji16]

What is cjp? Probably not available in SA anyhow

Me too! I'm another converter I've gone from CND to Youngnails and now CJP. I've not worked with anything quite like it, The colours are just fab, once you have the right ratio it's perfection.

Hi sorry to bother you, would you be able to give any advice on assignments for level 3 city and guilds please? Specifically 303 client care and communication.
