Hi, not sure which forum to put this question on, so ended up here!
I fitted my first set of cluster lashes last week using a kit i bought in Sallys. Im not trained, just wanted to give it a go as i have had a request for lashes for a wedding day. The kit was by Ardell. The set have not lasted a week, lashes dropped off daily. Did i not use enough glue, or should i by a different brand? Thanks x

Why don't you go and take the training? Without meaning to be rude I've seen so many dodgy lashes that have been painful as they were applied incorrectly. If you had done training you would know cluster lashes look best the first 2 days after application. By day 3 they drop off rapidly

The salon systems glue is quite good - Dries very quickly. I would also get some remover incase client come back to get them removed.

I always use Duo even for clusters. They still last into the next day but I recommend clients remove on day 2/3 if they haven't come off because of the weight of the cluster on one real lash. They are not like individuals and aren't designed to be worn for days - that was taught in. my training x

The courses aren't very expensive, be careful as you're not insured if they have an allergic reaction its all on you x

Thank you all for your replies.
I did look into training and although it wasn't too much money, funds are tight at the moment. Also the client who i am tanning/nails for her wedding is the only person who has asked about eyelashes, so it made me wonder if spending the cash on a course was worth it. It may be a one off occasion.
But, i did want to try and do the lashes for her, hence the trip to Sally's and the Ardell kit.
Didn't realise that i would not be insured, makes sense!
