Hey i am training to do gel extensions and using the edge products but I am already not a fan of them at all. I was wondering if anyone had experience with Halo easibuild or with Gelish hard gel? Or advice on a good brand for a beginner? Thank you xxx

I’m wouldn’t consider myself a pro because I’m pretty much a beginner myself but Young Nails have new gels in a tube. They’re not like poly gel but a hard gel in a tube with a special applicator. I haven’t tried it myself but from their videos it looks like it’s very easy to use. They’re quite expensive though. Hope this helps!

I use LCN they are really really easy. The nails don’t yellow, chip or scratch they’re tech support is amazing and the range of products. Celebs like posh, Naomi Campbell, girls aloud,Kate moss and Cameron Diaz all wear it!

NSi offer a balance bond starter kit for gel nails that comes with everything you need too

If you couldn’t find an Ikon.iQ hard gel to suit you I would eat my hat!

One phase, lower viscosity all purpose gel. Opium, medium viscosity salon gels. Ultimate high viscosity gels for precision sculpting... and even a soak off gel system called Evolution that has a base, builder and extension gel. All are lovely to use and they are a really safe brand as they are also hypoallergenic.

I have just started using hard gel for extensions and I find Elite99 hard gel fantastic!
