Simple! Always works wonders. I see results within days. And their blackhead reducing face scrub is amazing!

Please remember this is a forum for salon professionals, and we do not recommend over the counter (OTC) products as these are not professional.

Thanks.

It's for my own personal use

Isn't this an "over the counter product" and also an admin recommending it??

Jane Iredale is a professional range, which I believe you can only acquire via an authorised stockist.

I've tried lots of pro brands and not found anything that works for me.
I started using only garnier micellar water a couple of months ago to cleanse and a loreal night cream & moisturiser.
Now my skin is amazing! Shows that you don't have to spend loads. x

Double wear isn't?! It's from boots!!

Thankyou. I looked at the water but didn't no if if would be any good x

Sorry if I'm part of some confusion here! On the thread I mentioned double wear lite the Op had already said she had tried the original.
Without wanting to take this off topic, I think makeup is different from skincare as the majority of makeup is basically OTC.
Skincare however is not and is how a lot of our highly trained professionals on here make their living. I think the advice you should get here is ditch the High St and book in with a pro for a skin analysis and follow her recommendations.
Cheers everyone, and I'm so glad I'm no longer an Admin!!

Still an over the counter product. There are also professional brands of makeup.
seems like one rule for one and all that ...

I only use pro brands. I think Simple is just that - Simple. Most OTC products won't make a fundamental difference to your skin because anything like a cosmeceutical that can actually improve your skin - rather than masking the problems - has to be prescribed by a therapist. Our skincare clients start a journey with us, and we can actually show them the improvements in the skin.

If you want to shop for OTC products I don't know that this is the forum to get advice. There are a lot of non pro bloggers and sites where non pros can advise other non pros, but I do get a little fed up of anecdotal evidence of 'this worked for me'.

If you just want a high street cleanser, toner and moisturiser, to me, they're all much of a muchness!

Without a doubt imho Liz Earle. And ethical too.

I guess it depends on your skin type, mine is still oily/combination even tho I'm now worrying about crows feet lol

When you find the right thing, you'll know xx
