Hey hair geeks.
I was just wondering, what is the best styling wax for men? My husband uses Dax Wax (red tin) and it is the only one that makes his hair behave (he has thick, short hair) but it gives him loads of residue build up which results in a dandruff like look. Not a good look. As you are all very experienced in the hair side of things ( me being a skin/nail geek I'm not so informed) I'm hoping to find a really nice wax for him. Thanks!

I use the Soho Fish range of hair waxes and find these okay they have a range of various wax types.

You might want to change your thread title to say " hair wax" for men - I opened the thread thinking it was about the best wax as in body hair remova..l!!.. lol.. I never look at the section I look at the thread titles..

Hope he finds one that will work

I did the same as Jack assuming it was hair removal not styling! I tend to go between Tigi Manipulator or Bed Head wax stick.

Yes both tigi manipulator and bed head stick are fab, but the manipulator does smell a bit on the sickly side. I used both of them when I went for a pixie crop in my early 20s and neither ever failed me x

Thanks for replys. I have no idea how to edit the title though! Lol.

Osis Mess Up is good, I stock Schwarzkopf in my salon and i love it.
I also used to use Manipulator, lasts a long time, and good, but is expensive x

if he likes Dax he'll love the new tigi catwalk session series wax. its a "pure" soft wax and smells gorgeous!
