how do you keep your mask brushes clean and safe to use on clients?

I've been looking at Ellisons and they have a liquid and a spray.

I wash mine with a strong anti-bac soap that kills blood-born pathogens/ is a fungicide, etc, then leave them in a machine that both sanitizes and air dries them. I also do this with my facial sponges.

If you don't have any machines for sanitation at work then washing (or soaking) them in a solution like I mentioned, washing it out with water, then letting them air dry would be fine. (just don't soak for too long because if the solution is too strong it will deteriorate your brush/sponges). I've been doing this for a few months now and my brushes and sponges are fine and are as clean as ever :)

I usually use my fingers to apply masks. Much easier & less mess to clean up. Cheaper too:). (Exception to this is the rubber peel-off algae masks. I use a plastic spatula then)

Me too. I think it's much nicer to have it applied with hands too. I sort of massage it on. I haven't used a brush since I left college.
