Hi everyone
A client has asked if they can have this effect on their nails. Any idea of how to get this? It looks like black glitter but also looks textured/matte.
Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks!

It looks like glitter with no top coat...it wouldn't last if there wasn't any top coat :/ sorry I can't be helpful or suggest anything..xx

It's a gorgeous effect. You liberally sprinkle the glitter into a thick top coat (no wipe and hard gel top coats are usually thicker), shake excess off, cure then brush off excess and buff the edges

Ahh thank you! Are they ones you've done yourself? They look lovely! Would you apply a topcoat over it? X

Yes I do it often. No I don't top coat it afterwards as it's a completely different look
It feels smoother than you'd imagine. It does wear with time around 2 weeks and it's a bit buffed but it's not patchy looking. It's more noticeable on light colours

I knew I had darker ones!
Here's the black

I always use a tack free topcoat aswell Hun, I've found if I use a gel topcoat or flexi one that the glitter chips off

Ahh they're amazing! Thank you so much for your help! I'm gunna go and have a practice asap! X
You're welcome [emoji4] I always use a fine Magpie glitter and prefer a metallic to holographic finish. Good luck!
