I am sitting here now with Affinage Eraser on, so i will keep you posted on how it goes..!
I have had permanent black hair for 8 years now and am naturally blonde, that's a lot of build up to try and get rid of.
I'll update you when i wash it off!

tanx!! and good luck ;) xox:)

Okay so after first application (you can apply up to 3 times) it has lifted A LOT but only roots down to about mid length. About 5 inches at the ends has gone down by about 2 shades to a dark/mahoganny brown colour but still a long way to go, however my hair is shinier than ever and still in great condition- (touch wood!). I'm on the second application now.x

ugh sounds like alot of work!! tink il chance jus gettin it bleached and hope for d best:irked:!! hope urs turns out and thanks for the update :) :)

not only is the build up on the ends going to be hard to lift, but after you lift out that color, you need to put all the protien your hair is now missing back into it. If you apply another color directly over that, it will grab black again, because the ends are SO porous. Before applying another color after decolorizing it, you should do a protien treament or atleast a deep conditioning treatment, then do the new color. hope this helped :) good luck.

I'm not a hd, just stumbled here, but I am speaking from personal experience when I say this

Nooooooooooo! Step away from the bleach. I had a similar problem getting a rich red out of my hair and it took 4 attempts with bleach, 2 blonde home colours and a toner to get it back to blonde. My hair was like straw and it has taken me 2 years to grow the damage out. It would fry every time I straightened it, the ends of the hair round my temples etc looked like cotton wool at times. at the very least if you aren't a hd, get an experienced one to sort it out for you. Good luck x

Hi hun, another update, my hair is in better condition than before and i have now done 2 treatments, will need one/two more until i am back to natural.

DO NOT BLEACH. I have done before and my hair went gummy and snapped and i ended up with a terrible bob for over a year.

I read up on the hair forums here before i went and bought AFFINAGE ERASER, it is an amazing product and i highly recommend it. My mum is a hairdresser so knows how to use all products correctly etc. But i would suggest going to a professional to get it done properly, it isn't worth comprimising the condition of your hair.
